We've Got You Covered!

Best known as Tri-Five, the 1955, 1956 and 1957 model years for the Chevrolet Bel Air, 150, 210, Delray and Nomad are some of the most popular and sought-after collector cars. In 1955 Chevrolet added their new V8 option to the Bel Air’s standard six cylinder engine, and introduced the V8-powered Nomad. 1956 added more horsepower to appease their popularity with hot rodders, and 1957 brought about even more horsepower, chrome and large tailfins.

The continued power and weight additions require much more than the stock drum brakes from that time period. Wilwood has developed a variety of disc brake options to match the necessary braking performance. A DynaPro 6 front big brake kit is available with a 12.19” diameter rotor, as well as a Forged Dynalite four piston kit with a 12.19” or 11.75” diameter rotor. A Forged Dynalite 11.00” diameter rotor kit is also available to fit inside OE-style 14” wheels. Wilwood also offers a variety of big brake kits for the popular Heidts aftermarket spindles.
