Forged Narrow Superlite 6R Big Brake Front Brake Kit (Race) Description

This kit is configured for dedicated road racing on all 2006-2015 Honda Civics originally equipped with 54mm piston calipers and requires 17” or larger wheels designed with additional inside clearance to accommodate the larger than stock brake package. The six piston FNSL6R/ST radial mount calipers used in this kit feature a forged aluminum body with a Type III Mil-Spec hard anodized, medium gray color finish. Hard anodizing provides superior wear resistance in the piston bores, and high resistance to abrasion and corrosion throughout. Thermlock® pistons are used to reduce heat transfer from the pads to increase fade resistance, and to extend service life by decreasing temperatures in the caliper body, fluid, and seals. Internal damper springs and controlled retraction, high-temperature piston seals assure consistent pedal height from start to finish. Spec37 alloy, GT competition series 12.88” diameter directional vane rotors are dynamically mounted to the OE hubs with weight saving forged aluminum hats. Unsprung and rotating weight are minimized while providing high cooling efficiency and rugged durability with thermal stability in sustained high heat competition. Mounting brackets, including all premium grade fasteners, secure the calipers in the stock location without modifications. This race winning system is completed with high temperature, high friction, endurance compound race pads selected specifically by application. Stainless steel braided flexlines are required for installation, and must be ordered separately by the specific vehicle year, make, and model.

Forged DPHA Front Caliper Kit Description

Wilwood’s new DynaPro Honda/Acura Caliper (DPHA) for Honda and Acura models originally equipped with 262mm diameter rotors. These calipers bolt directly to the stock mounts on factory spindles, fit over the OE 262mm diameter rotor, accept the OE brake hose, and clear many factory aluminum wheels including the EM1 Si 15” wheel. Designed around Wilwood’s proven DynaPro series four piston calipers, the forged billet bodied DPHA caliper delivers high-strength clamping force and positive stopping power. Four stainless steel pistons provide fully balanced pad loading, along with the corrosion resistance and thermal retardant qualities of the stainless alloy that will keep your calipers cooler and running trouble free for many more miles. Calipers work perfectly with the OE master cylinder and ABS functions, and are available with either black or red high-gloss, high-temp, brake fluid resistant sealed powder coat and feature Wilwood’s signature logo.
