Wilwood Disc Brakes engineered new complete brake kits specifically for chassis builder Detroit Speed & Engineering’s upgraded 1973-87 Chevy/GMC C10 truck spindles. DSE forged-aluminum spindles adapt GMT800 parts to classic trucks, creating the SpeedMax front suspension and Speed front drop kits. Wilwood’s brakes provide power and confidence to spare for towing, hauling, and high speed, even on heavy trucks.

Wilwood’s 13” kit features the venerable Superlite FNSL six piston calipers clamping 13.06’’ x 1.25” Spec37 iron alloy 48 vane rotors. The 14” kit features Aerolite rigid AERO6 six piston calipers with a stiff central bridge, grabbing 14.25” x 1.25” Spec37 rotors with 72 internal cooling vanes. Rotors are available slotted or SRP drilled and slotted. Calipers come finished in gloss red or black powder coat, plus 22 optional colors (additional charges apply).
