Wilwood is now offering non-coated stainless steel scalloped, vented rotors for open wheel racecars. Through exhaustive metallurgy, dyno and racetrack testing the new non-coated rotors are equal to coated rotors in stopping efficiency and will offer a substantial cost savings to the customer. Both rotors are made to float at the mounting points to eliminate stress distortion from heat expansion and are very lightweight. The rotors (160-13373) work perfectly with the forged billet DynaPro calipers and Composition Metallic Formula Pads when used in the Brake Systems for Sprint Cars and Midgets.
