Wilwood Disc Brakes is proud to introduce two new front and one new rear upgrade disc brake kits
for the 2013 Ford Focus ST. These upgraded brake kits significantly enhance safety and
performance for street use, while exceeding the demands of track events from Autocross to the most
challenging SCCA Road Race venues. Front kits come with Forged Narrow Superlite 6 Radial
(FNSL6R) mount calipers with 12.88” or 14.00” GT slotted, or SRP drilled and slotted rotors. These
kits work harmoniously with the original equipment (OE) master cylinder and ABS functions.
Both the 12.88” (P/N 140-13018) and 14.00” (P/N 140-13019) front kits include net forged FNSL6R
calipers which provide high strength clamping force and positive stopping power. Six differential bore
stainless steel pistons provide fully balanced pad loading, along with the corrosion resistance and
thermal retardant qualities of the stainless alloy that will keep your calipers cooler and running trouble
free for many more miles down the road or track. For more aggressive race applications, calipers can
be fitted with our exclusive Thermlock pistons which provide the most effective thermal barrier for
minimizing heat transfer from the brake pads to the caliper body, seals, and fluid. Base model kits
include either sealed gloss black or red powder coat calipers.
The rear kit (P/N 140-13031) features Wilwood’s own CPB caliper that utilizes hydraulic pressure for
stopping and an internal mechanical lock for the parking brake coupled with 12.88” GT or SRP rotors.
This kit also works with the OE master cylinder and ABS functionality.
All three kits can be purchased with either the GT competition series, or the SRP series drilled and
slotted E-coat rotors to maximize braking capacity and match style with your wheel size and design.
GT rotors are fully detail machined from premium grade carbon iron castings, face slotted, and
individually dynamic balanced to provide true and precise running at all speeds. SRP performance
rotors feature Wilwood’s signature directional drill and slot design with a protective E-coat finish. The
drill and slot pattern adds race-tech styling and the venting qualities that preserve pad performance.
The heat resistant E-coat finish protects the rotors from rust on all areas that are not swept clean by
the brake pads.
Kits come with BP-10 compound “Smart Pads” that provide quiet engagement and low dusting, but
with the added temperature range and higher friction values of a semi-metallic compound pad.
Optional high-temp and race only pad compounds are also available.
To complete the installation, precision machined and application specific brackets come along with
premium grade hardware and alignment shims for a secure and accurate installation. DOT approved
flexline kits, required to adapt Wilwood calipers to your chassis plumbing are included with the kits.
