Camarillo, CA • March 2016
Wilwood has renewed their sponsorship with Maryland Performance Center (MPC) and its Real Street Class through the
2016 season.
Entering its fifth year of competition, Maryland Performance Center created the small tire stock suspension drag racing
class for budget-minded racers seeking heads-up competition. After starting with eight original racers the Real Street
Class has grown to more than 30 members over its short history. Nine events are scheduled for 2016 hosted by Mason
Dixon Dragway.
“2015 was our first year working with Maryland Performance Center and their Real Street Class, and we were impressed
with the feedback we received,” said Steve Cornelius, Director of Sales and Marketing at Wilwood Engineering. “We
developed a great relationship with the MPC team and look to continue educating drivers on how to choose the right
brake package for their drag racing vehicles.”
