Camarillo, CA • March, 2017
Wilwood Disc Brakes is excited to announce new racer reward programs for the 2017 North American Formula 1000
Championship season.
Eligible drivers have three chances to receive contingency. First, the Tough Brake Award will go to the fourth place
finisher at each event. Second, those fourth place finishers could receive additional contingency – if they run eligible
Wilwood products – through the Double Dip Program. Lastly, the Tenth Man Up Award will go to the driver that finishes
10th overall in the championship standings.
“Formula 1000 racing has been a great showcase for Wilwood competition disc brake components,” said Steve Cornelius,
Director of Sales and Marketing at Wilwood Engineering. “This program is aligned with the philosophy of the series and
we look forward to helping educate drivers on the best braking solutions for their race vehicles.”
