Wilwood’s ProSpindles are designed for custom suspensions configured around Pinto/Mustang ll geometry. Two versions offer choices for either stock ride height or 2” drop. The one-piece forged steel bodies are lightweight, yet nearly three times stronger than OE or aftermarket two-piece cast and steel replacement spindles. Bolt-on steering arms are strong and allow the same spindle to be used on either side of a vehicle. The steering arms may also be inverted to help make corrections for bump steer based on the steering linkage location. Additionally, the spindle is ½” taller than OE spindles which effectively raises the front roll center geometry for improved handling characteristics. Integral mounting bosses on the spindle body provide the strongest possible attachment point for caliper brackets. ProSpindles use common Pinto and Mustang ll tie rod ends, ball joints, wheel bearings and seals.
