Aerolite four or six piston calipers and dynamic lug-drive Spec37 alloy staggered directional vane rotors combine to deliver high capacity, consistent braking, and thermal stability for road racing, autocross, and track days. Forged aluminum, Type III hard-anodized, radial-mount racing calipers feature a central bridge for less deflection. Spec37 alloy GT72 rotors are dynamically mounted with a single snap ring to allow thermal expansion. Forged aluminum lug-drive hats reduce rotational and unsprung weight and simplify installation without the need for rotor mounting bolts. Kits include caliper mounting brackets and premium hardware. Kits are a direct bolt-on for production C5/C6 cars or custom builds using Corvette suspension.

Wilwood is pleased to announce a new road race brake kit for 1997-2013 Corvettes

Wilwood’s championship winning road race brake systems for 1997-2013 Corvettes have been upgraded and fortified with the newly released Aerolite Quick-Silver 6R/ST racing calipers. The Aerolite calipers feature an all new, highly efficient, weight saving forged body design. It provides an overall increase in caliper stiffness and resistance to deflection and body separation under high load, and the high pressures generated by the OE power brake system. The new calipers also use thicker 20mm pads that reduce the heat saturation rate and increase the interval time between pad service cycles. Improved pedal feel, immediate and confident response, and longer pad cycle times will keep you and your Corvette on track longer and racing to the front of the pack.
