AERO6R/ST six piston radial mount race calipers are coupled with the high cooling capacity of 14.00" Dynamic Lug Drive Spec37 GT directional vane rotors to provide the ultimate brake package for unrestricted road race competition. AERO6R/ST calipers use a forged aluminum body and feature a Type III Mil-Spec, medium gray color hard anodized finish. Hard anodizing provides superior wear resistance in the piston bores, and high resistance to abrasion and corrosion throughout. This latest model of the AERO6R/ST calipers features a wider than standard body that accepts 20mm thick pads to add volume for longer service life. Thermlock® pistons are used to reduce heat transfer from the pads to increase fade resistance.

Wilwood Racing has engineered new race-ready big brake kit packages for the front and rear on C8 Corvettes from 2020-2025. These feature-rich kits are built around the proven Aerolite race calipers using Thermlock piston technology for improved heat management, Lug-Drive dynamic mount Spec37 floating rotors that are race-ready out of the box using a Wilwood proprietary burnishing process that eliminates the need for any bedding-in procedures.
