Wilwood Engineering’s new 11-inch Internal Drum E-Brake Rear Kits are perfect for enthusiasts who have original muscle cars, street rods, classic trucks, street machines and other specialty vehicles that are running smaller diameter rear wheel sizes.

Wilwood Engineering has just released two new rear disc brake kits for ‘59-’64 Chevys to complement our existing big brake front kits. Our new 11-inch and 12.19-inch Internal Drum E-Brake Rear Kits for 1959-1964 Chevys are perfect for enthusiasts who have original classic cars using that classic Chevy differential assembly. These kits are available in two sizes.

Wilwood Classic Series front disc brake kits for 1955-1957 T-Birds provide an affordable way to update from Original Equipment (OE) drums on cars with 14” or 15” wheels. Dynalite Classic kits use 11.28” diameter one-piece rotor assemblies built specifically for the OE drum brake spindles. Dynalite aluminum 4 piston calipers, BP-10 compound SmartPads, mounting brackets, stainless steel braided DOT approved flex lines, and all the necessary hardware for a complete changeover are included in these “Made in the USA” kits.

Wilwood has announced four new front brake kit combinations built around their new 2" drop ProSpindle for popular 60's and 70's GM A, F, and X body muscle cars. Brake kits are available with rotor diameters from 11.00" to 14.00". Caliper options include Classic Series forged Dynalite-M, DynaPro 4R, Superlite 6R, and high-capacity Aerolite 6R in your choice of standard red or black powder coat or 22 additional caliper color finishes. The 2" drop ProSpindles are a tall-body design that lowers the stance and gravity center height, while producing a higher front roll center with reduced camber change to improve handling and reduce body roll during cornering.

Classic Porsche 911 sports car owners now have new rear brake upgrade options from Wilwood. Modern braking power comes from motorsports-proven forged aluminum Dynapro four piston calipers engineered for 911s from 1969-1989 using OE hubs with 3.0” (76,2mm) strut mounting tabs.

Classic Porsche 911 sports cars still get driven hard, and now Wilwood has bolt-on four piston brake kits that do not require any modifications and provide modern stopping power in a strong, lightweight package. Complete Powerlite front axle brake kits have been explicitly engineered to replace the cast iron twin piston factory calipers and rotors on 1969-1974 Porsche 911 sports cars using OE hubs. Caliper-only kits include a bracket and are available for models using OE rotors.

Wilwood has released new options for classic Mopar owners with the four bolt pattern master cylinder mount of the muscle car era, covering Dodge and Plymouth A, B, and E-body cars. Wilwood’s popular Compact Tandem Master Cylinder is now available with a right-hand side combination proportioning valve kit which includes pre-bent lines, mounting bracket and brake light switch.
