Remote Tandem M/C for Classic Mustang

Wilwood’s Remote Tandem Master Cylinder for Classic Mustang is available in 2 bore sizes 7/8” and 15/16”, and in two finishes: ball burnished and black e-coat. They’re designed for mount flanges from 3.22” to 3.40” and a pushrod and eyelet for Calssic Mustang and other Ford vehicles from 1965 to 1973. Remote Tandem Master Cylinders offer fluid outlet ports on both sides of the bore. The stroke is set at 1.12” with a volume ratio of 2:1 between the primary and secondary chambers. Machined from high-pressure die castings, each master cylinder weighs only 3lbs, a 75% weight savings over most cast iron OE type master cylinders. Wilwood's Tandem Master Cylinders represents the latest in refinement in brake pressure actuation and fluid control. The included captured pushrod is for manual brake equipped cars or conversions. The high-pressure die-cast aluminum cylinder is available 2 finishes, ball burnished or black E-coat, with slotted mounting flanges for 3.22” to 3.40” on center studs. Kit includes two 7 oz. fluid reservoirs, clamps, brackets, and hoses for direct or remote mounting. The Combination Proportioning Valve substantially simplifies wiring and brake proportioning, incorporating a hydraulic brake light switch, adjustable prop valve, and Y-junction block, and finished in black E-coat for durability and a performance look. Stainless steel fluid tubes are precision bent with pre-installed plated steel tube nuts for a simple bolt-on installation. Simply connect the fluid lines, bleed the system, and you're finished.

Wilwood's Tandem Master Cylinders represent the latest in refinements in brake pressure actuation and fluid control, and the durable nylon reservoirs are designed so that the top is level when mounted at the 15° angle typical of GM power brake applications. The high-pressure die-cast aluminum cylinder is available 2 finishes, ball burnished or black E-coat, with slotted mounting flanges for 3.22” to 3.40” on center studs. The Combination Proportioning Valve substantially simplifies wiring and brake proportioning incorporating a hydraulic brake light switch, adjustable prop valve, and Y-junction block, and finished in black E-coat for durability and a performance look. Rear brake circuit reservoir, closest to the booster, holds nearly 5 oz, while front brake reservoir holds 8 oz. both made of black plastic with black screw caps.

This kit includes stainless steel fluid tubes which are precision bent with preinstalled stainless tube nuts for a simple bolt-on installation between the Combination Proportioning Valve and the Wilwood Tandem Master Cylinder.
