Engineered to provide consistent braking behavior, superior pedal feel, and smooth friction performance, BP-22 is replacing the BP-Q compound and represents Wilwood’s most advanced street-friendly ceramic-based compound to date. The new formulation bridges the gap between daily-driven comfort and high-load performance demands, making it ideal for street & strip vehicles, autocross competition, towing applications, and occasional track-day use.

BP-22 utilizes an advanced ceramic-based compound designed to reduce common brake concerns—such as noise, dust, and excessive rotor wear—without compromising stopping power or thermal stability. Engineered for refined behavior during daily driving, the compound is designed to “come to life” under higher temperatures experienced during autocross runs, HPDE events, and sustained towing conditions.
