Wilwood Racing has designed a powerful, lightweight rear outboard option to match the ever-evolving brake requirements of chassis design, tires, and driver needs in competitive Sprint Car Racing. All components are race-proven and rigorously tested at tracks across the United States.

The lightweight brake kit uses a SA (super alloy) scalloped and drilled 10.50” x 0.19” rotor, dynamically mounted with T-nut hardware to a Type III hard anodized splined aluminum adapter plate. The engineering and design are completed using Wilwood’s latest FEA (finite element analysis) technology to remove weight while improving reliability and endurance racers and teams can depend on. The GP200 caliper weighs in at less than one pound and includes universal mounting options for front or rear bearing carrier locations. The low fluid displacement caliper means less pedal travel and, combined with Wilwood’s composite metallic Purple compound brake pads, translates to great pedal feel and improved car control. All premium-grade hardware is included.
