Wilwood Engineering announces bolt-on Big Brake Kits for late model 1500 and 2500 Series GM trucks, SUV’s and Hummer H2’s. Featuring a high tech look, these brake kits are designed to improve braking efficiency as the trend toward larger, oversize truck and SUV wheels and tires continues. An all-new forged billet TC 6-piston caliper in a choice of red or black finish clamps PolyMatrix pads on a two-piece hat and the biggest 16” drilled and slotted SRP rotor in the industry. An asymmetrically slotted GT rotor is also avail-able for severe high heat applications. A separate Pro Series rear brake kit features Superlite 4-piston calipers with PolyMatrix pads on a one-piece iron hat and 13” drilled and slotted SRP or slotted only GT rotor. Both front and rear Big Brake Kits are compatible with the OE ABS, parking brake and master cylinders.
