HVC1/GNX4 calipers are the product of Wilwood's in-house FEA design and 3-D modeling technology. This is the current caliper for AM General Military REV HUMVEE vehicles. The HVC1/GNX4 caliper, with its unyielding strength and superior piston design, generates positive pedal response and high clamping efficiency with a substantial weight savings over original calipers. The caliper feature a natural aluminum finish protected by a durable clear coat anodizing. Forged billet aluminum bodies, stainless steel pistons, and high-temperature seals put an end to the rust, bore pitting, and seal failures that plague many OE caliper design. Stainless steel pistons delay the heat transfer from the pads while the aluminum calipers dissipate the heat quicker than the OE cast iron calipers. Cooler operating temperatures translate into longer service life, regardless of the driving environment.

Narrow Mount DynaPro (NDP) forged billet calipers represent the next generation of calipers available as an upgrade or direct replacement and are the current caliper used on the General Dynamics EFSS Prime Mover Vehicle and the Light Strike Vehicle (LSV). The strength of the DynaPro Caliper is a combination of process and design. NDP calipers are stress-flow forged from premium grade billet. Stress-flow forging realigns the grain structure of the metal within the contour of the body design. This process produces a part with superior strength over parts simply machined from straight grained blocks of billet. The FEA generated body design incorporates a highly fortified radial transition that eliminates steps and shoulders between the piston housings and the bridges. Incorporating a radius in this critical area substantially increases resistance to deflection and caliper body separation under load. For additional strength, all NDP calipers are fitted with center bridge bolts to provide additional resistance against separation over the center of the pads. Structural deflection and volume displacement testing have proven the efficiency of this innovative design. Reductions in overall deflection, and the subsequent decreases in fluid volume displacement, translate to increased clamping efficiency with less pedal travel. The bottom line is a firm, responsive pedal with outstanding stopping power.

FNSLR/ST forged billet calipers, with four Thermlock pistons, deliver championship proven performance with piston sizes to provide matched rear braking bias for use with the Aero6/ST or other larger piston front calipers. FNSL4R/ST calipers incorporate race technology into a radial mount body design with widespread adaptability. Including competition update options for all FNSL4R rear Big Brake kits. Thermlock pistons, high-temp seals, SRS bridge plates, and two-piece bleed screw assemblies are standard in all calipers. Four high-temp race only brake pad compounds in the 7416 pad type allow precise tuning of the brake response, friction requirements and temperature range.

The Forged DynaPro Honda/Acura (DPHA) caliper represents the newest generation of calipers designed exclusively as a direct bolt-on for Honda and Acura models originally equipped with 262mm diameter rotors. These calipers bolt directly to the stock mounts on factory spindles, fit over the OE 262mm diameter rotor, accept the OE brake hose, and clear many factory aluminum 15” wheels. Designed around Wilwood’s proven DynaPro series four piston calipers, the forged billet bodied DPHA caliper delivers high-strength clamping force and positive stopping power. Four stainless steel pistons provide fully balanced pad loading, along with the corrosion resistance and thermal retardant qualities of the stainless alloy that will keep your calipers cooler and running trouble free for many more miles. Calipers work perfectly with most OE master cylinders and will maintain ABS function. DPHA calipers are available with either black, red or Competition Blue high-gloss, high-temp, brake fluid resistant sealed powder coat and feature Wilwood’s signature logo.

FSL6R/ST calipers provide the pad wear performance advantages of differential bore pistons with the option for ultimate heat protection using Thermlock® pistons in the ST models. Differential piston bores compensate for leading-edge mechanical loading and temperature variances across the pad face to reduce pad taper wear in sustained high temperature applications. Thermlock® pistons in ST caliper models block heat transfer from the pads and reduce temperatures in the caliper, fluid, and seals by up to 25% over standard stainless steel pistons. Featuring a Type III hard anodize finish, these are the go-to calipers for all types sustained hard braking on dirt and asphalt ovals and a wide range of off-road, rally and road course applications.

Aero4 Radial Mount

The new Aero4-ST forged four piston caliper delivers heavy duty stopping power for the road or track. The caliper incorporates race technology into a body design with widespread adaptability. Radial mounting, multiple options for piston volume, and a rotor diameter ranging from 12.88" to 15.00" give this caliper the versatility necessary to suit all types of heavy weight braking requirements. The new Aero4 is the latest innovation to the W4A / W6A series of calipers. It has been redesigned with internal fluid ports that eliminate the external fluid cross-over tubes and massive center bridge assembly. Equipped with Thermlock piston technology and Wilwood’s type III hard anodized finish. Aeo4-ST calipers utilizing the new .80” thick 6620 pad plate, give extra pad life for high heat endurance racing
