AERO6 Big Brake Front Brake Kit (Race)

Aerolite four or six piston calipers, BP-30 or BP-40 race compound SmartPads, and dynamic lug-drive Spec37 alloy staggered directional vane rotors combine to deliver high capacity, consistent braking, and thermal stability for road racing, autocross, and track days. Forged aluminum, type III hard-anodized, radial-mount racing calipers feature a central bridge for less deflection. Spec37 alloy GT72 rotors are dynamically mounted with a single snap ring to allow thermal expansion. Forged aluminum lug-drive hats reduce rotational and unsprung weight and simplify installation. Kits are a direct bolt-on for production C5/C6 cars or custom builds using Corvette suspension.

Forged Narrow Superlite 4R Big Brake Rear Brake Kit (Race)

Forged Narrow Superlite 4R caliper rear road race kits provide matched performance in conjunction with FSL6R and AERO6R front race kits on vehicles built specifically for competition. FSL4R calipers use stainless steel pistons to retard heat transfer from the pads and high temperature seals for reliability in sustained high heat. Radial mount brackets attach the caliper in the stock location. GT series directional vane competition rotors provide high efficiency cooling and mount to the drive axles with forged aluminum hats. Kits also include high temperature, high friction race compound pads and all premium grade fasteners.

Wilwood Announces New Front and Rear Road Race Disc Brake Kits for the 2010-2015 Chevrolet Camaro

Wilwood’s 5th Gen Camaro road race kits feature forged aluminum Aerolite 6R/ST racing calipers up front working in tandem with forged aluminum Superlite 4R/ST racing calipers in back; both in durable Quick-Silver finish. Front and rear kits feature 14” diameter Spec37 alloy directional vane GT competition series face-slotted rotors and dynamic mount forged aluminum alloy hats. Included are BP-40 compound metallic-composite SmartPads which provide improved friction and durability for road race applications.
