Off-Road Desert - 6100 Spec Truck / 8100 Pre-Runner
6100 Spec Truck / 8100 Pre-Runner — We've Got You Covered!

They call it the Spec Trophy Truck, also known as the 6100 series. The main difference between an unlimited Trophy Truck (aka Trick Truck) and a Spec TT or 6100 truck is the engine. Trophy Trucks have engines producing at a minimum of 850hp and can get up close to the 1,000hp range depending on the application. The Spec TT or 6100 series truck must have a stock spec motor, crate sealed, tagged, and purchased through a designated supplier. Motors are typically an LS3, or the Ford equivalent, that will put out roughly 430hp.

Class 8100 Unlimited Sportsman in the Best in the Desert series is a class where all components will be considered open unless otherwise stated in the rules. No points are awarded in this class and no year-end championship is awarded. Be sure to review the rules for the race series and class you are entering prior to registration. Different sanctioning organizations will have different rules and specs can vary widely.
